Professor Amar writes in the Colorado Law Review in 1994 on the Republican Government Clause (the “Guarantee Clause”), in a landmark article (full title:  The Central Meaning Of Republican Government: Popular Sovereignty, Majority Rule, And The Denominator Problem).

The 1975 University of Pennsylvania Law Review finds this classic article by Henry Friendly, one of the most cited articles of all time.  Professor Amar discusses the decisive role of this article in addressing issues of due process such as some have raised in the Trump v. Anderson case.
